We love to conduct fleece workshops!
We offer one day fiber education workshops that can be
tailored to your farm or organization’s particular needs.
Our Basic Presentation includes the following:
Introduction to the various types
of camelid fleeces
Characteristics of each fleece type
Shearing and collection of fiber at
time of shearing
Skirting a fleece
Preparing a fleece for processing
or show competition
There
is lots of hands on practice and plenty of fleeces to work with.
