Artisan Yarn from Small Family Farms
Midwest Fiber Farm, located in rural Perrysville, Ohio, south of Ashland, specializes in buttery soft, natural and hand-dyed llama and alpaca yarn in lovely color combinations and offers hands-on fiber arts classes from expert teachers. Our mission is to promote the joy of working with llama and alpaca to fiber enthusiasts everywhere!
Company owner Lee Ann understands yarn from the ground up. She has more than 15 years experience working with alpaca and llama fiber, having been a llama owner since 1996. Midwest Fiber Farm is excited to add Barb Baker at Baker & Company Llamas to our fiber mix. Barb brings her talent of crochet, color planning, and a large herd of llamas to keep our llama yarn offerings new and fresh. Both Lee Ann and Barb know what to look for when purchasing fleece and blending fibers for the business and are quite selective. Only the highest quality fleece make it back to the studio. We work with just the right mills to produce the look and feel we want . Whether from Ohio-sourced alpaca fleece or from our own llamas, we strive to provide our customers with only the best. We also offer frequent classes in dyeing, knitting and crochet so please contact us to schedule a class. For weekly updates on what's new, visit our Facebook page.
