Fleece & Fiber Workshops and Demonstrations

We love to conduct fleece workshops! We offer one day fiber education workshops that can be tailored to your farm or organization’s particular needs. Our basic presentation includes the following:

        Introduction to the various types of camelid fleeces

        Characteristics of each fleece type

        Shearing and collection of fiber at time of shearing

        Skirting a fleece

        Preparing a fleece for processing or show competition

There is lots of hands on practice and plenty of fleeces to work with. Please contact us if your farm or organization is interested in hosting a fleece workshop.
